About

Born in Kansas City, I began playing the guitar at the age of 12 after seeing the Beatles play on the Ed Sullivan Show. After seeing that, I knew what I wanted to do with my life – playing in many bands, covering many different styles of music. I went on the road in 1977 and traveled from Oregon to Maine playing music all the way. I finally settled in Vermont, and have been fortunate enough to actually make a living teaching guitar and performing.

I teach guitar at the wonderful Elley-Long Music Center at Saint Michaels college in Colchester, Vermont & at the Mahaney Center for the Arts at Middlebury college in Middlebury, Vermont. i have 8 recordings to date and i’m working on the next project now. i love what i do!
